This morning I went to teach yoga at the club round the corner. I was very excited as I hadn't been able to teach that particular class for the past couple of weeks. This is a short Yoga class (30 min) and oh boy the benefits are beyond expectations! Why? We have a rejuvenating session together which is then followed by a lovely community coffee break.
The proper definition of a Cup of Joy (or "Cuppa Joy"...)! We talk about life, about all and nothing. We share, we listen. We are here, together, sharing a moment in time that we will never get back (life, right?!) We decide to spend that time together. Precious!

Yoga offers a wide array of benefits for both the body and the mind. It won't be surprising to you when I say that practising yoga regularly can improve your flexibility, strength, and balance, while also promoting relaxation and reducing stress. What's more? Yoga can help increase mindfulness and focus, leading to a greater sense of overall well-being.
And that...makes me think about Life coaching...
Life Coaching offers a multitude of benefits that can help you reach your full potential and lead more fulfilling lives. A life coach provides guidance, support, and encouragement to help you clarify your goals, identify obstacles, and develop strategies to overcome them. Through personalised one-on-one sessions, you can gain valuable insights, improve your self-awareness, and enhance your decision-making skills.
It can also help boost your confidence, and increase your motivation to take action towards your dreams. By setting specific, achievable goals and holding you accountable, a life coach can help you stay focused and on track. (Like a Yoga Coach, maybe?..Food for thought...) Cherry on top, a life coach can help you improve your communication skills, build better relationships, and manage stress more effectively.
So basically...
Yoga and life coaching are both powerful tools for personal growth and development. They can empower you to make positive changes in your life, overcome challenges, and create a more balanced and fulfilling lifestyle. While yoga focuses on physical and mental health through the practice of asanas, breathing exercises, and meditation, life coaching aims to help individuals set and achieve goals, overcome obstacles, and live a more fulfilling life.

By combining the principles of yoga, such as mindfulness, self-awareness, and balance, with the guidance and support provided by a life coach, you can experience a holistic approach to self-improvement. Practising yoga can help you cultivate a sense of inner peace and clarity, which can be beneficial when working with a life coach to navigate life's challenges and achieve personal development goals.
Together, yoga and life coaching create a powerful synergy that can empower people to live more consciously, authentically, and purposefully. And that concludes why I have become both a Mindset & Empowerment Coach & Yoga Teacher. Whether on the yoga mat or in a coaching session, the journey towards self-discovery and personal transformation is enriched by the integration of these two complementary practices.
